Wheel Size

Usually, you'll be able to find this written on your bike tyre, in the ETRTO, English or French format.

Your wheel size should match one of the markings on the table below. To find out what Swytch Wheel size you need you will need to look for the three-digit number, or if there isn't one, the larger of the two-digit numbers (bold on the table below).

Wheel_Size_Table.png

Swytch motor wheels can take any width of tyres from 1.1-2.35 inches (28-60mm) - this corresponds to the smaller number written on your tyre. If the width is outside this range you will need to locate a different tyre to fit our kit or opt for our hub-only kit. If you still can't find which wheel size you need you can measure it yourself, or send us a picture and we can tell you.

Axle Size

You will need to measure the size of your fork dropout to make sure you select the correct Swytch wheel axle size. Most standard bikes have a 10mm axle, while bikes with a quick-release wheel tend to be 9mm.

Please note - if you are unsure, we recommend selecting the 10mm option. It's always better to select the larger option (we can replace it if needed) rather than insert a smaller axle into a 10mm dropout, which in very occasional circumstances can be dangerous.

Watch our video and check out our support page for more information.

Plug Type

Checking your plug type couldn’t be simpler. Simply go and check your outlet to see which one it corresponds to from our options displayed. Or just select the region you live in.

PAS Options

You will need to select a PAS for your bike. There are three to choose from.

1. Standard PAS

Most customers will need the PAS disc which attaches to your crank arm. It comes in two parts - the sensor and the disc. It fits in the gap between the bottom bracket and the crank arm. If the bolt connecting the bottom bracket and crank arm is thick then select the universal PAS instead.

2. Universal PAS

The Universal PAS system is perfect if you have less space around your crank arm or a more complicated setup. It is attached to the crank arm so that the disc can be set back from the frame allowing more space to fit the PAS system.

3. Integrated PAS

This integrated PAS only fits a specific set of bike models, you need 22 splines on your bottom bracket or a Shimano fitting

Cable Length

If you're planning to locate the battery pack within the frame (or in front of the seat post) then we suggest you select the standard cable.

For positioning the battery pack on the seat post or behind the seat post, a longer cable will be necessary - this will give you an extra 100cm of cable length.

Note that the longer cable is compatible with all battery pack locations but if you're planning on fitting the battery to the downtube with the longer cable there will be some excess cable that will need to be strapped to the frame.

🚢 Step 3: Accessories

You can add a range of accessories and add-ons to your order such as displays, throttles, brake sensors and adaptors.

You can find out about the various accessories we offer by searching our Help Centre.

🔒 Step 4: Confirm Your Order

Check your order and personal details are correct before submitting your order.

If you have upgraded your kit or added any addons or extras to your order you will be asked to pay the remaining balance.
