You can absolutely use your Swytch Kit without a display!
If you didn’t select a display during checkout, there’s no need to worry. Your Swytch Kit will still function perfectly without one.
Displays are optional accessories that offer additional features, such as adjusting power levels or viewing your speed while cycling. However, they are not required for the system to operate.
If no display is selected, your kit will include a no-display dongle. This small adapter connects to the display cable and allows the system to run automatically. With the dongle installed, your Swytch will operate at assistance level 3, and the motor will activate as soon as you begin pedalling — no manual switching required.
If you did purchase a display, simply remove the no-display dongle and store it in a safe place. It’s a small component, so we recommend keeping it somewhere secure to avoid losing it.
If your Swytch Kit does not include a no-display dongle, a display is required for the system to function.
Your kit must be connected to either a display or a no-display dongle at all times. One of these components is essential for the kit to operate correctly.
